Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how Devdazzle LLC ("Devdazzle," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on Devdazzle (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences - such as staying signed in or keeping your language choice - so you do not have to set them again on every page. Similar technologies (such as values stored by your browser) work the same way and are covered by this notice.

2. How we use cookies

We are the controller of the data set through these cookies. We use cookies only to make the Platform work and to remember basic preferences. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.

3. The cookies we use

We use a small set of strictly necessary and functional cookies:

  • Session cookie (PHPSESSID) - keeps you signed in and keeps your activity (such as your cart and checkout) connected during a visit. It is required for the Platform to work. Expires when your session ends. Set with the HttpOnly and SameSite flags, and Secure over HTTPS.
  • "Remember me" cookie (remember_token) - set only if you tick "remember me" at sign-in, so you stay signed in across visits. Lasts up to about 30 days, or until you sign out. HttpOnly, SameSite, and Secure over HTTPS.
  • Cookie-notice preference (cookie_consent) - remembers that you have seen and dismissed this cookie banner, so we do not show it again. Lasts about one year.
  • Language preference (lang) - remembers whether you chose English or Turkish. Lasts about one year.
  • Security token (CSRF) - a value tied to your session that protects forms and actions against cross-site request forgery. It is part of your session, not a separate tracking cookie.

4. Cookies we do not use

To be clear about what we do not do:

  • No advertising or targeting cookies. We do not serve ads and do not use cookies to profile you or follow you across other sites.
  • No third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party trackers.
  • No social-media tracking cookies. Sharing or social links do not drop tracking cookies through our pages.

If this ever changes, we will update this notice and, where the law requires consent, ask for it first.

5. How long cookies last

  • Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser or your session ends (for example, the PHPSESSID cookie).
  • Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set time so a preference survives between visits (for example, lang, cookie_consent, and remember_token), as described in Section 3.

6. How to control cookies

Because all of our cookies are strictly necessary or functional, you do not need to consent to them, and there is nothing tracking you to switch off. You can still manage cookies in your browser settings - block them, delete them, or be warned before one is set. Most browsers explain how in their help pages.

Please note that blocking the necessary cookies (such as the session and security cookies) will stop you from signing in and using core parts of the Platform.

7. Consent

We show a short cookie banner the first time you visit. Since the cookies we use are required for the Platform to function or simply remember a preference, they are set on the basis of operating the service rather than tracking you. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
